Pinot in the City will transform one urban block into a wine country experience. Taste the local flavors. More than 100 of Willamette Valley’s famed wineries will come to Portland and converge on one city block. And taste samples from local food purveyors and bites from Willamette Valley restaurants including The Dundee Bistro!

On Saturday, August 13, dust off one of these precious bottles, pour it with dinner, and join other ¡Salud! Cuvée connoisseurs for a show and tell of what you’re drinking on Facebook and Twitter. Better yet, top restaurants in Portland and beyond are waiving corkage fees for patrons that bring in bottles of ¡Salud! Cuvée during this exciting day of cellar raiding!

WHAT: The ¡Salud! Sip – A chance to finally open up one of those ¡Salud! Cuvée you’ve been saving and share your experience with ¡Salud! Cuvée enthusiasts across the country

WHEN: August 13, 2011

HOW: Post pictures, descriptions, your own personal tasting notes, etc. of the ¡Salud! Cuvée you’re sipping on ¡Salud!’s Facebook page wall, tweet your experience to @Saludauction on Twitter, and use hash tag #SaludSip to give other sippers updates on your Pinot unveiling!

WHERE: A number of restaurants in Portland and throughout wine country are waiving corkage fees for anyone that brings in a bottle of ¡Salud! Cuvée on August 13! Check out the list below and join them for a fantastic meal as you show off your one-of-a-kind Pinot Noir.

Chef Flanagan joined Chef Stoller-Smith for Timberline wine dinner


The Dundee Bistro Chef Christopher Flanagan and Sous Chef Luis Jimenez teamed up with former Dundee Bistro Chef  Stoller-Smith for an impressive wine dinner featuring a knockout line up of Ponzi wines. Maria Ponzi was on hand to represent Ponzi Vineyards. The event took place at the idyllic Silcox Hut located above the main Timberline lodge at 7,000 feet!
